Miss Jennie

Miss Jennie is thrilled to join the Musical Magic team! Jennie has a background in dance, theatre, and administration. Born to British parents in New York City, she grew up in Texas studying ballet, modern, tap, and jazz. However, she caught the acting bug as a teenager and eventually received her BFA in Theatre Studies with a specialization in Directing and Playwriting from Southern Methodist University. An internship with Steppenwolf Theatre brought her to Chicago in 2003. She has worked as a stage manager and director for many local theatre companies including The Griffin, Lifeline, Chicago Scriptworks, Infamous Commonwealth, and The Neo-Futurists.

Miss Jennie has worked for a construction law firm, a wall coverings manufacturer, gotten to the bonus round of Wheel of Fortune, and accidentally become the archivist and librarian for a Fortune 500 CPG company. She lives in the Chicago area with her daughter, Eleanor, and husband, Dylan. She is so excited to get to know the Musical Magic families and watch your little ones delight in all the music and fun!

Miss Jennie will be in the studio Monday - Thursday between the hours of 12:30pm - 4:30pm. Call her at 773-529-5600 or email her to schedule your make-up, inquire about our birthday parties, or register for the next session!

“Our one year old son Thomas just adores all the vibrant colors in the facility and the excitement from all the kids and teachers. He has a great time in every class. We will continue to enroll him until he is too old."

“I find it so fun to get out of the house and be able to take BOTH of my kids to a class and let them learn, play and enjoy music. We are planning on booking Eli's 2nd birthday party at Musical Magic and cannot wait to plan the event with Miss Katie.
