Our Teachers

Miss Jamie

Jamie is thrilled to be teaching with Musical Magic! She recently relocated to Chicago from Arizona, where she worked as a professional actor and theatre teaching artist, primarily for Childsplay, where she was an ensemble member for nine years. She has performed and taught for a variety of companies in the valley of Arizona including Greasepaint Youth Theatre, Stray Cat Theatre, Art and Sol, and Phoenix Theatre for Young Audiences.

After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in theatre, she toured the United States an actor/director for Missoula Children's Theatre. Her heart eventually led her to Chicago, where she has worked as a teaching artist for Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop and Windy City Performs. She has a strong passion for working with young people and using the arts to help them develop empathy, self-love, and endless imagination. She can't wait to sing with you and your little ones in class this session!

Happy Clients

“Our one year old son Thomas just adores all the vibrant colors in the facility and the excitement from all the kids and teachers. He has a great time in every class. We will continue to enroll him until he is too old."

“I find it so fun to get out of the house and be able to take BOTH of my kids to a class and let them learn, play and enjoy music. We are planning on booking Eli's 2nd birthday party at Musical Magic and cannot wait to plan the event with Miss Katie.
